In 2013, when we visited Arizona Rancheros, Unit 21, Lot 89, a lot we had won on eBay at the end of 2012, we discovered that there was a washout that had brought pieces of petrified wood to the surface. As part of our survey of the property, we collected various samples as
a record of the lot’s existence and potential. We made 3D scans of them to update and archive their existence. Until then, we hadn’t received the deed for the lot. When we returned to NYC, we found out the lot had been sold again, this time it changed hands.
