What to do in an elevator emergency
At the Bronx Museum, we trained between groups of two to eight people on how to react and what to do when an elevator gets stuck. The demonstrations took place in the museum elevator. After explaing how to react and interact with the other passenges, we encouraged participaints to focus on the main goal: TO OPEN THE HATCH. The hatch was located 12 feet above so it required the participation and cooperation of all passengers. Once the hatch was opened everyone recieved a certificate. Each lesson took approximately 15 minutes.
