On June 9th, 2007 we tested the reverberant effect of the deserted, 10.000 seat Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ.
Looking at the locked up stadium from above via sattelite images, it reminded us of a huge loudspeaker,
which hadn't been used in a long time. We tried to wake up this dormant possibility
by triggering a composition, that was created through bodies knocking, jumping,
scratching and clapping on the outside walls of the stadium.
The event was part of a collaboration between the FLUX
FACTORY and the entire
city of Paterson.
