NaZhe at the Metropolitan Hall Taipei

After being in isolation during the Covid Pandemic for almost 11 months it was a special treat that the first public performance we attended was the Chinese Opera: 哪吒请 at the Metropolitan Hall in Taipei.
The story was about Nezha, who is often shown flying in the sky riding on the Wind Fire Wheels (風火輪), has the Universe Ring (乾坤圈) around his body, the Red Armillary Sash (浑天绫) around his shoulders and a Fire-tipped Spear (火尖槍) in his right hand.

Parts of the story were also performed >>> here in the square of Baoan Temple in Taipei. >>> watch some life action here

“Yu Jirou laughed and said, in fact, she was originally practicing Wudan, but this time playing Nezha, to be a boy, is a new challenge for her, and she has practiced for a long time. Xu Yankai also said that he usually plays the general role. This kind of more heroic characters spent a lot of time thinking about the expressions and movements of Monkey King, hoping to show Monkey King smartly and well.
