Dear Montello Crew,
advertisement (either in form of a poster or a flyer or a postcard… it's not decided yet) for the anticipated 20 NYC passenger IAM layover in September 2006 will have to go into print soon. In collaboration with Art in General we are in the process of writing an intinerary for this trip. Our writing does not seem to match the exciting tone, people are used to read on this website. Therefore the question got raised: Would anyone of the IAM ground crew be interested to write some catchy phrases/ produce some stunning visuals, that would make potential passengers really want to make this trip! As usual - there is not much time - but if anyone has an idea for a short statement or a great graphic …(it might be only a 2 color print - we'll find out Sunday). Otherwise, we use what we come up with.

Let us know if anything stange is happening. Sightings might be seen on the site. After all it is about airtraffic. So whatever you see, if things turn yellow it is usually a good sign, but keep us informed about sightings. It is now ones fault if things are happening at IAM. Passenger Kristin, who experienced a 4 day transit lay over at International Airport Montello from April 9-13, 2006 just finished her Masters degree at Stanford University and is now looking for a summer job outside the Bay Area.
It is with great pleasure that International Airport Montello can announce publicly, that Kristin chose to turn her hobby basement passion into a part time airport profession. From now on, Kristin will be the Bingo Caller at the IAM LUCKY Casino. Please welcome her “dryly”. She comes from a place, where it has rained every single day for the last six months.

To all the Airport Representatives who are tired of standing around!

Last summer the eteam participated in an exhibition called: "The Poseidon Adventure" in London, UK where they showed "The Paradox of the 10 Acres Square".

The seating for watching the video was a wooden bench, with a blank brass plaque. For the duration of the show the bench was listed on ebay. There, it was announced that the highest bidder's name would be engraved on a plaque, and that - once the auction was finished - the bench with the engraved plaque would be shipped to the International Airport Montello, where it would be used as a waiting bench.

Last week we got news from London that there actually had been a “higgest bidder” and that is name, now engraved on the plaque is,
LORD JOHN ARTHUR CHARLES BINGHAM-CHICK

As of today (see date above) the bench is ready for shipment from London, UK to International Airport Montello, NV.

Question: Where, on the airport are passengers or employees tired of just standing around? Who wants to sit on a bench while watching the daily airport activities unfold?
And, who would be available to receive the shipment and install the bench?
In return, the bidder (unknown to us) would like to receive a photo of the bench, once it has found it's place at IAM. Who has a camera to take that picture?

People from Montello, who got stuck two years ago in the Artificial Traffic Jam will hopefully be pleased to know, that even against the very nature the traffic jam itself, the documentation of the event is now honking through the hallways of El Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico City, Mexico.
We haven't heard back from anyone in Mexico City if they got excited seeing someone else being stuck in Traffic. That might have to do with the fact that everyone there is still standing. “Mexico City is the largest city in the Western Hemisphere. And judging by the major traffic jam I was stuck in on Reforma Boulevard, …, it is also one of its most congested.” Quote
