Strike!

In August 2005 the entire workforce of IAM went on strike. IAM workers demanded better conditions and recognition of the airport, bathrooms with running water, air conditioners, payment, airplanes, as well as Internationalization of the airport. Due to the absence of authorities, union representatives, mass media or any outside witnesses, the protest ended after several hours.
